How did he reach the sea
Jose Salvador Alvarenga works as a fisherman. One day in 2012, he went to the sea to catch fish with his fellow fisherman Ezequiel Cordoba. As soon as the boat of these fishermen reached some distance from the coast, suddenly a storm came and their boat got stuck in the sea. This storm lasted for about a week and in the meantime they came very far from the shore, besides this their boat also broke down and got damaged. In such a situation, they had no way to go back home.
Friend died
When Jose returned to the land, he gave an interview to The Telegraph and told that when he got stuck in the sea and he had nothing left to eat, he hunted birds and quenched his thirst by catching them and drinking their blood. Apart from this, he also ate turtles. However, in the first 10 weeks, Jose’s friend Ezekiel fell ill and died.

How did the case of 8 crores happen
When Josh reached home, Ezequiel was not with him. When Ezequiel’s family heard what Josh said, they alleged that Josh ate Ezequiel to stay alive. Whereas, Jose completely denies this.
